CEO Jann Smith departs the ATDC

CEO JANN SMITH DEPARTS ATDC

The Board of the ATDC regretfully advises that CEO Jann Smith has taken up a position in the Tasmanian Department of Justice. “It has been my pleasure over the last five years to work with the ATDC and to grow the organisation and the reputation of the sector,” Jann said.

Jann has strongly and effectively represented ATDC members in promotion, prevention and early intervention projects, in expert working groups, advisory committees, justice initiatives, advocacy, workforce development, and sector capacity building. Hallmarks of Jann’s time with the organisation have included establishment of community projects, participation and leadership in policy and practice development, contributions to initiatives such as the National Ice Action Strategy.

The Board wishes Jann well for her future and offers thanks for her valued contribution to the future service direction of ATDC and to alcohol and other drug sector members and their clients.

The recruitment of a new CEO will be given high priority by the Board.

Member support is available as usual through the ATDC office and the ATDC President, Stuart Smith is available for contact when required.
