National Minimum Data Set Guidelines
National Minimum Data Set (NMDS) guidelines are now available. The guidelines are a reference for all those involved in collecting and supplying data for the Alcohol and Other Drug Treatment Services National Minimum Data Set (AODTS–NMDS). They should be useful to staff in Australian government, state and territory departments, and alcohol and other drug treatment agency staff directly involved in the collection and reporting of the data set.

ATDC Quality Improvement Project Internal Evaluation Discussion Paper
Based on interviews with three ATOD funded services in Tasmania and a literature review, this discussion paper suggests that organisational evaluative activity can strengthen service delivery and reinforce advocacy to government. Key to ensuring that internal evaluation is meaningful is integrating it into work practice and, staff and leadership that are committed to the ongoing review of practice. Download discussion paper
