Review of Adult Community Mental Health Services in southern Tasmania

The Adult Community Mental Health Service (ACMHS) in Southern Tasmania provides community based recovery care and support for consumers who experience mental illness, their families and carers. This includes the Helpline and the Crisis Assessment and Treatment (CAT) service.

The existing service configuration of ACMHS and associated model of care was established in 2006 and to this point has not been formally reviewed. During this time there have been significant changes to the mental health sector both locally and in Tasmania.

The project team would like to engage with community based stakeholders to seek their feedback on the current structure and model of care and provide any recommendations for future changes to the service.  Further information and contact details can be found here.
