  • Worker Well-being – Launceston
    All day
    07/02/19

Practitioners are faced with many unique challenges in the mental health and alcohol and other drug sector. They work with complex presentations and hear personal histories that invariably impact on the practitioner’s own wellbeing. Balancing personal wellbeing with effective treatment can be a significant challenge.

This ATDC MEMBERS ONLYworkshop introduces strategies to identify, monitor and address these challenges, as well as an overview of some boundary related issues which can occur when working with these clients.

About the Facilitator: Grant Blake is a Clinical Psychologist at ForensiClinic Consulting and a PhD researcher at the Centre for Forensic Behavioural Science. Grant works with clients experiencing a variety of clinical and forensic issues. His special interests are in trauma, sexual and non-sexual violence, offending behaviours, and personality disorders
