The Tasmanian Government (Mental Health Alcohol and other Drug Directorate within the Department of Health) have provided an additional three grants of up to $25,000 + GST to support the alcohol, tobacco, and other drug sector recover from the impacts of Covid-19. This is in addition to the $150,000 + GST already provided to the sector through the Alcohol, Tobacco, and other Drug Sector Covid-19 Sector Building package of May 2020.
These three Recovery Grants will support community sector organisations delivering alcohol, tobacco and other drug programs and services to invest in necessary modifications or initiatives that are required as a direct result of Covid-19 impacts.
Funding for organisations will be allocated through a grant program coordinated by the Alcohol, Tobacco and Other Drugs Council of Tasmania.
Applications open on Wednesday, 13 January 2021 and close at 9am on Wednesday, 17 February 2021.
Eligible organisations can apply for one grant of up to $25,000 (+GST).
