ATDC response and actions

Similar to a number of our members, we’re implementing changes to the way the team operates so that we’re best placed to continue providing support over the coming weeks. This includes:

  • ATDC team transitioned to work remotely
  • Transitioning face-to-face meetings and discussions to telephone and/or videoconference
  • The cancellation or postponement of key events (e.g. Bus Tours and the 2020 ATDC Conference).

Throughout these changes we will continue to make progress with our existing work (e.g. the consumer engagement project, the AOD Reform Agenda, stigma and discrimination to name a few). We will also be focused on the continuation of workforce training and development opportunities for members, and opportunities for the sector to remain connected that can be delivered remotely.

As we all journey through the next few months there may be other issues that arise that may require a united voice for our sector. If there is anything that you’re concerned about, or if you require any support do not hesitate to get in contact. We will be here to assist.
