The Alcohol, Tobacco and other Drugs Council of Tasmania is partnering with the Pharmacy Guild of Australia, the Pharmaceutical Society of Australia, the University of Tasmania and the Drug Education Network to deliver a series of information session across regional Tasmania to raise awareness on the risks of accidental pharmaceutical medicine overdoses. Funded through the Alcohol and Drug Foundation, this initiative has been developed in response to the increase in accidental overdoses across Tasmania.

Where: Triabunna, Smithton, Wynyard, Queenstown
Resources available
Starting June 2020, 100 pharmacies will receive information packs including prescription folds and posters highlighting the risks of accidental pharmaceutical medicine overdose.
Get involved
We are seeking local pharmacists who want to receive an information pack or to join us at our community information sessions to provide your pharmaceutical expertise and local knowledge. You will be reimbursed for your time.
