ATDC Advisory Council
Seeking up to eight (8) interested individuals, across the spectrum of our members (see the ToR).
The key role of the Advisory Council will be as a formalised channel to allow members to provide systemic advice on matters or issues to strengthen the ATDC’s ability to provide strong and effective leadership. The Advisory Council won’t have an executive decision making function (and doesn’t replace the Board). But the Council will provide informed professional and local perspectives on how to improve the provision of ATOD services, identify and consider pertinent ATOD matters or issues and provide advice and guidance to the ATDC on key matters or issues.
This would be a great opportunity for someone in your executive team who would like to increase their understanding of key advocacy, policy or sector development issues in the ATOD sector and contribute the strategic discussions on how to address these issues.
