The ATDC has presented the final Data Sharing Options Paper to the Tasmanian Department of Health and Primary Health Tasmania for their acceptance and consideration of our recommendations.
The ATDC recommends that:
- a data repository is implemented.
- minor enhancements be made to existing Clinical Information Systems (CIS).
- a CIS is licensed for shared use by service providers, that can be adopted in place of existing systems.
Comments, queries and other feedback on the options and paper are welcome by phone or email.
A summary version of the Options Paper is available here.
Please contact us for further information or a copy of the Options Paper.
