Unlock the potential of trauma-responsive leadership with our intensive training program, Trauma Responsive Leadership – Self as Leader. Developed in collaboration with the Department of Health’s National Activities Program and supported by a grant from the Tasmanian Department of Health, this free online training invites selected participants through registration by invitation.

Delve into key learning outcomes aimed at empowering leaders to navigate the complexities of trauma-informed practice:
- Reflect on trauma-informed leadership principles in action.
- Understand the importance of leading from a secure base.
- Navigate the safety/risk paradox inherent in team leadership.
- Explore different leadership attachment styles for effective management.
Utilising the esteemed NGO AOD Peaks Capacity Building Evaluation Framework developed by the National Centre for Education and Training on Addiction (NCETA), our program ensures rigorous evaluation and evidence-based learning.
Hosted by BlueKnot, this one-day online training is tailored for supervisors, leaders, and senior professionals in ATDC selected core member organisations and relevant professionals from Alcohol and Drug services and Mental Health Alcohol & Other Drug Directorate. In the event of vacancies, participation can be extended to associate members, ensuring broad access to critical training in trauma-responsive leadership.
